We are offering a PhD position on Physics related to “High Field Superconductors for high-energy physics applications", it is mostly related to vortex physics of high temperature superconductors at microwave frequencies and very high magnetic fields, very relevant for the new generation of systems in high-energy physics (axion detection haloscopes and high energy circular accelerators). It is in the framework of a CERN collaboration. Details are in the enclosed job offer.

We are urgently seeking for good candidates. The first preselection list is for begining of October.

The contract could start by begining of 2022, but in case we cannot fill it now, we will also consider candidates with a master degree from summer 2022. However, they should apply already now.
