The Master's Degree in Telematic Engineering provides advanced and highly updated training in Technologies and Engineering of Networks and Telematic Services, including technical, managerial, economic, regulatory, technological innovation, and research aspects.
The Master faces the need to train professionals and researchers with advanced knowledge in a series of areas that are experiencing considerable expansion, such as cybersecurity, network and system virtualization, the Internet of Things, big data analysis ( Big Data) and the application of Artificial Intelligence to many applications and services. The training also includes the development of complex software projects, virtual and augmented reality, in addition to solid foundations of network engineering and service administration.
The Master has the collaboration of professionals from the private sector, who will teach part of the content.
Its objective is to provide advanced, specialized and multidisciplinary training, especially geared towards job placement but also with the aim of introducing research activities. The title allows continuing the training of students with a Degree in Telematic Engineering and a Degree in Telecommunications Systems Engineering as well as students from other degrees, as detailed in the corresponding section on Access and Admission.
At the end of the studies, the official title of Master's Degree in Telematic Engineering is obtained from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.
The title obtained with this Master will allow access to doctoral studies. At the UPCT it allows direct access to the Doctoral Program in Information and Communication Technologies.
